Has anyone tried Lk Okoboji? I have a buddy down there(non-diver) and he thinks it would be a nice lake to dive.
Never been IN the water there, but I've fished it. I did come across this however, and it sounds pretty fun and rewarding:

http://okobojiscuba.com/ecodive2001.htm
I was wondering the same thing about this lake. I emailed Iwright, and he said that Pillsbury Point was pretty good. You might want to contact him. If you are looking for a buddy let me know. Okie is on my list for this year.
I'll go... Maybe we should all go for that environmental dive? Sounds kind of fun, it's on July 20th I believe.
I know that Jose (josejavierlopez256001) has done this lake several times. He was just down there this past Saturday. I went diving with him today and he gave it very positive reviews.

The lake has several different bays with different terrain. One bay has a submerged tower -- sort of like an oil rig. I definitely would like to dive the lake this summer.

Thanks for the links jose! I just KNEW there had to be caves around Crosby (OK I was really just hoping really hard). Alot of good info on Okie. I'd be up for the ecology dive on the 20th if anyone is interesed. That old ice truck sounds kind of neat.
