You can only have camera or video gear if it is black.
I have seen GUE instructors with cameras so I would have to say that it is accepted. There are also a lot of pictures floating around that were taken by David Rhea, who is a GUE Instructor.

How could a camera be DIR, nothing gaurantees an f****d up dive more than carrying a camera!
