Our annual Treasure Dive will be held next Sunday May 22nd at Square Lake County Park. This is our 23rd annual Treasure Dive and we had a great turn out last year (around 50 divers) on a cold and rainy day. The weather looks to be much better for next weekend (I've heard upper 70's). We hope you'll get a chance to join us. The water entry is at 2:00pm, with a briefing held at 1:30. Most participants arrive around 12:30 in order to be ready to hit the water right at 2:00. If you haven't attended before, the treasure is/are numbered bricks that are planted on the bottom of a specific area (roped off) of the lake. Each brick is numbered and the numbers corespond to a prize (anything from a regulator or B.C. to a mask and a bottle of defog. We make sure that all prizes have at least a $20.00 retail value. Only one brick per diver is allowed, but after the awarding of brick prizes, all remaining prizes are given away in a drawing so many divers take home more than one prize. Each participant is invited to join us for a picnic lunch following the dive. Family members are welcome, just let us know how many so we can plan for the picnic. Registration is $30.00 in advance or $40.00 the day of. All participants also recieve the Treasure Dive t-shirt. Call the dive shop to register at 763-574-1280
