3 of us dove Lake George in Anoka County (south of St. Francis on Co.Rd. 9)a few weeks ago. It's not a deep lake, max 30'. we did a shore dive off of the west side. we were very surprised by the visibility 15'+. i'm sure it could of hit the 20+ mark if it weren't for the boat traffic. the boaters respected our dive flag and stayed away. it was reassuring, that a boat full of 20ish year old people knew that indeed it was a dive flag.
we had to go out quite a long way to hit 10'+. there were many many fish, more than i've seen in either Square or Perch.
would be a nice dive during the week (especially if you have a boat).

In all fairness though, we didn't SEE any boaters near us.
