I have just been informed that Gordon Smith, inventor of the KISS CCR and the owner of Jetsam Technologies has passed away due to a personal medical issue, not related to diving. 

Gordon will be missed.  While I never met him personally, I spoke with him many times on the phone and I could tell he was very intelligent and kind.  He was also an extremely talented mechanical engineer.

This is certainly a tragic loss for the RB community and the dive industry as a whole.

I have met Gordon at Industry shows and had the pleasure of diving with him in British Columbia and he was a class act through and through.  My confidence in him and his product are part of what led me to the KISS.

My prayers and condolences go out to Kim.
