looks like I'll be about 75miles from crosby so have a short drive to the pits and will get there on sunday.. maybe shortly before noon or around noon.  I'm going to see how far the fit will get down the roads :-[ so if you see me stranded give me a lift o.k.

I'm meeting a buddy there and anyone is welcome to join us.  I hope to get some good freediving videos/pics.  Most likely will be at Louise unless the vis stinks, and I'll drive through the campground to check that out for next time.  I know it's late notice but didn't know until last night I was going.
don't know if the cell works up in that area but here's a #7014301590

I promise next time I'm on my way to cros I'll post earlier.
Fred
Hey Fred,
We're all eager to see how the video came out.  From what I saw, Louise had great vis on Sunday.  Bad news is, both my hubby and I had problems managing the heat!  He couldn't get cool enough, I forgot my gloves on shore and frostnipped my fingers!
See you again soon!
it was a good day at Louise for sure..  I know what you mean about the heat.. I drank about a gallon of water saturday night and lost it as soon as I put on the wetsuit in that heat on sunday!  We left the suits on and drove over to portsmouth and cooked some more.. the water was sure refreshing.... especially at 102'
I'll get some videos up later.. maybe yet this evening
here's a short video (what do you expect.... we're holding our breath! :Smile )
you can actually hear how I sometimes stuggle to equalize when I approach 90' or so.. although this was  good day... in fact, I actually felt the best I've ever felt at 100' and believe if I'd given it one or two more dives I'd have made 120', but that can wait till next time...
kinda a boring video.... it's just down the rope.

Roland met me at crosby and here's a dive of his to about 80'.. he got stuck so many times in the mid 70' dives mainly because he got psyched by the darkness that approaches you at that depth... if you were scuba diving down there you would maybe think it wasn't so dark, but since it's only seconds since a freediver has left the bright sunshine the eyes don't quite get adjusted to the change at depth..  I've been in the muck and darkness so much it doesn't bother me in the least, but it takes some getting used to.  Roland did make it to 80'.. a new pb for him.  He's got to work on his finning technique... once he gets that down he'll be way passed me...
