Well, I'm beginning to understand now why a drysuit would be REALLY nice to have. I can't imagine getting out of the water and having the air temp being less than 50 degrees. Time to start putting my pennies away so I can expand my diving season to ALL YEAR!
Not really sure why I posted this, guess I just needed vent or something... Mall of America's Underwater World is starting to sound pretty inviting already.

I know what you mean. I'm hoping the wetsuit will work up till the end of October, so I can carve a pumpkin again this year underwater.

Yeah, I think I'll just struggle with the wetsuit for as long as I can. I just bought a new car so my gear spending is done...unless I win the lottery LOL!
I just spent this whole past weekend in the water. The high winds blowing off the water really made the air temp cool. I brought along a fleece vest and a windbreaker to wear on the surface. I also left my suit on all day.
Maybe once diving season is over we should get together for some SCUBA Scrabble... All words would have to be related to diving in some way, sounds like a good winter passtime to me!
So I assume things like:
HAMMER - What you use to beat your dive buddy senseless with.
would be out of the question...
