was out at Calhoun with Smith Diving tonight...

vis 3-7 depending where you were and how close you were to the other divers.   Wink
temps ~65[sup]o[/sup] to 15' or so and I read as low as 45[sup]o[/sup] around 32'

13 people showed up and I had a great time.  Mike and I ended up finding some sort of wooden structure in 30' that had all kinds of interesting stuff in/around it including an old rain coat.  Thanks again to Tom and everyone that helped out at Smith!  We had a great time and look forward to the rest of the summer fun dives.  ;D
anyone have any clue as to what the structure could be?  it was a lidless box about 10 feet x 20 feet and roughly 2 feet tall.  there were maybe 2x6 or 2x8 boards lining the outside and there was pretty much nothing on the inside.  being that it's just randomly sitting in 35 feet of water off the north beach i'm thinking maybe it was some sort of ice fishing structure that went through.
