Left from Owatonna with members of the Dive Club for the Hesper. Unloaded at the marina and went out and around to the wreck. Placed the buoy on the ship and did a little diving. Was pretty cool to see my first wreck. Coldest temp I hit was 37 degrees F, and I was in a Wetsuit with hood and gloves and only fingers where getting cold, but not enought to stop. Than jumped back in went to get more tanks and headed 5 miles south to tge Maderia. This ship was awesome, I can see why this is the more popular wreck. Found the steering deck at 72 feet. Hope to do more wreck dives this year. The Club also goes to Isle Royal and Bayfield later in the year.
