I have used a Mares Jacket style BC in the past and found no falts with it. but I prefer a Back inflate bc and chose a Sherwood Outback And like it alot. rent or borrow what you can to try as many as you need to be sure of your choice.<br><br>MNLakeDiver<br>aka Jim

I have a Mares jacket style BC. I have used it quite a bit in a variety of environments and can't say anything bad about it. I am however, going to be going with something different soon, probably a BP/Harness.

<br>I use a sequest balance (back inflate) bc and really like it. It is more streamlined than most bc's out there.
