I was thinking of going up to St. James pit for some diving in the near future.  Is there open camping sites at or near the pit dive site?

Vermillion Campground in Biwabik.  Closer to Lake Mine but close enough to St. James and Ore-be-Gone.

Will be there this weekend in the Ajax Loop, campsite 4a, b, c

About how far is it from the above sites?
