How late into March is it still safe to do ice dives on Lake Minnetonka?  I want to do a couple dives, but do not know if the ice quality will be good enough...  Thanks for the info!

We have less ice this year so I'll guess 2 weeks max. We are suppose to get a big warm up starting next week. If you go out, go early after a cold night and then get off the lake by noon or so. The sun does a lot of damage by mid day.
