How did THIS project get it's name?
(Kind of looks like the dog is having the most fun. ;D )
There was an 80ft two masted schooner lost in Beaver Bay (just south of Silver Bay)
The schooner was named the Charlie
Stan Braun found an anchor believed to be from the Charlie
The GLSPS secured the anchor by drilling a 1in hole in the bedrock and chaining it down with a pinch bolt.
We also checked the pilot house on the Madiera for a future project.
And Shadow always has fun.
Most people would be jealous of how much time he gets to spend on Lake Superior.
