I will retract my previous statement I made.  I just think that instead of recalling all of them, they could just send the replacement to the customers and require the customer to send them the old one.

Some things just aren't common sense to some people.

Why would you consider it a BS recall if they are re-engineering the coupler to reduce or eliminate O-ring failure?  Then you aren't as likely to haul yourself and all your equipment out to the site, get dressed, test your equipment, say bad words, undress and haul yourself back home without getting to dive.

Or worse, have the seal fail in the middle of a dive.
