Congratulations to Pat Olson (plankton 09) and Linda Negus (lindan) on their first sub 200 foot mixed gas rebreather dives.
They dived the steamer Marquette in the Apostle Islands.
We were diving off the Black Dog dive boat.
They had to brave a terrible 6 inch chop on their way to the line. ;D ;D

Yeah, it's amazing what I can do all by myself...as long as I have Linda's moral support, Bob's babysitting, the Johns' answers, Black Dog organization, cheer & fine food, & perfectly cooperative weather!  Wink  What a lovely wreck & great trip!  ;D
Congratulations Pat & Linda.  It was a pleasure having you aboard.
Sorry about the 6" chop, maybe the weather will be nicer next time.....
Way to go you two!  Sounds like it was an awesome trip.  We will have to get together and dive again soon!
Nice job! Someday down the road (way down the road) maybe I will join you in the CCR world.

Thanks for the support all. The predive jitters, gear quadruple checks, sound advice, experienced mentors, and professional crew, all came together to allow us to have a phenomenal dive(s).The Marquette is a treasure!!! She lies peacefully, allowing us to have a look, and has some hidden areas I can't wait to explore in the future. Quite an amazing wreck. She has a story to tell. Thanks to Bob O for the invite! See you all diving, Linda
