The GLSPS Gooseberry Falls State Park Logging Artifact Documentation Project, September 10 and 11, 2011

Another GLSPS project is going on this weekend.  It is being held at Gooseberry Falls State Park.  They are proceeding to document logging artifacts that are underwater around the Gooseberry River.  If you want to dive this weekend and are looking for something to do, you can still join Steve Daniel and the rest of his dive team in Gooseberry Falls.  If you are a GLSPS member, you were contacted several times about this project.  any of you could have registered for this project earlier.  We still were short on divers as of the day before the Project.  This is a make up Project from June 25 - 26.  You can still dive if you can drive up and be in that area by 9:00 AM Saturday.  Smile  Sorry about the last minute notice!  Sad

You can check more about the project on the GLSPS Website by logging onto the website at, and click on the project button provided on the front page of the site.  Or click on "2011 Projects" and click on the project.  After September 11, you can follow the report on the GLSPS Website at, and click on "Project Reports 2011"

Immediately after this weekend, next weekend it's the Wilson Zebra Mussel Monitoring and Cleanup Project.  It should provide some great results from the research we do, help cleanup the old girl and have a little fun in the mean time.

The projects are winding down for this season but, i certainly hope to see both old and new faces the rest of this year and certainly next year.

Hope to see you soon.
