Sounds good to me.  I had no idea that some anchors were so expensive.

Your approach appeals to my practical side. Smile

if the roads stay ice cover, I think that there will be lots of bumper and such laying on the roadside to pick up.

                                Hey Steve!
Sorry I couldn't run with you this weekend, but as a commercial spark, I'm going to stay with copper, last group turned $2.58 pound. Lets set a date for an ice-a-paloosa!      T

I told my wife that I was going to weld all my anchors together and make a fence around the property. So far I only have enough for a gate. So now they are covered in snow in the rock garden. Every time I look out the window I think "Dang, that's not enough, I better go get some more."

While cruising thedecostop some guy welded the anchors to a steel xmas tree frame like they were ornaments.

Trinity, do we need to schedule night dives so you don't oversleep again?  Tongue

Steve, now what makes you think I overslept, there might just of been a very good reason to not jump out of my nice warm waterbed, and go crawl about under the ice with you!
Hey Dude in marking my poly, you went in meters, marked how often? colored tape, or just stay with white with black marker, yellows tough to see on the poly?

For what its worth...
I looked at my yellow mark at 75' and it was yellow tape (about 5" long) with black tape at either end to distinguish it from the yellow rope. I also wrote 75' on the yellow tape with a sharpie. As far as marking it in meters... I will let Steve comment on that. I am too old a dog to learn new tricks like the metric system. John

                  Thanks John!
You marking every 10', 25', or what, if we can come up with something at all consistant I'll do that, ya I agree the yellow tape on yellow poly, is like looking for your glasses when you need them. to find them.

every 25' is standard.

Re: Ice (12/26 - 27) - arcFlash - 12-28-2009

Green tape and a sharpy worked. I only looked when I need the number and that worked well.

Terry, put me down for a role of tape, any color but yellow and black are good for my needs.
