old dive Gear - SUBMERGED - 07-05-2002

While at Perch Lake yesterday, Mark and I had the opportunity to talk with some guys who were using early sixties dive gear. The gear pretty much consisted of a small steel tank, and a large round regulator, a single breathing hose, and a weight belt. They are in the buisness of buying fixing and reselling old dive gear and the particular setup they had goes for about three bills.
They let Mark and I try it out at the boat landing area. Theres a lot of freedom there, without a BC, the guages, and hoses, and lightweight too.
They said they mainly use it in 25 feet or less.
Mark or myself have their business card if anyone is interested in some older gear.

jerry
