Paul lake PAD - billatlake - 06-23-2006

Paul Lake was invaded by a dozen divers Wednesday evening ( and a million mosquitos later).

Visibility was not as good as usual,  but fish were seen by all.  One veteran still managed to find a fishing lure,  even though most every foot of that side of the lake has been seen by divers!
Thanks to Pink Barracuda (Detroit Lakes) for bringing the grill,  as Northwest Divers (Moorhead) did  last time.

A good time was had by all.
The MMM  (million mosquito munch)  came after all but one diver left for the evening.
Smores next time?  or black russians.. hmm
:-\

And were you the one who stayed behind to feed the mosquitos?  You poor dear!  They can't bite through neoprene can they?  Just put some screening over the top of the snorkel to keep them from getting sucked in!

Why yes, I was... As I watched the last vehicle (other than mine) go over the hill,  I turned the key to find out my van would not start.
Nice opportunity to call the neighbor;  and my "moocher" reputation is intact.
May your dives be safe,  and your bug spray handy!
