nylon backed velcro straps - Hydro - 07-04-2010

are there better options for replacing a rubber strap with a nylon backed Velcro strap?

What is this for?

If its for an instrument, I really like the bungee mounts as they don't get loose at depth.  Midwest Mountaineering has a parts shop upstairs.  I've got all kinds of bits and pieces from them I've found to be very useful for diving.

Upstairs is called 'thrifty outfitters'

Hydro, you can get flat bungee (like 1 inch webbing from some hardware stores or fabric stores. The buckle is easy to find.
