In Water Recompression - Shooter - 07-28-2010 Say you are on a deep dive and something goes horribly wrong. You have racked up a considerable decompression obligation and had to do an emergency ascent for what ever reason. You are hours away from any medical attention and 6 to 8 hours away from a hyperbaric chamber. You are now on the surface conscious, and if not already seriously bent it is only a matter of time. Death is a real possibility. You are either a technically trained diver or are diving with someone who is and have a stage bottle with 100% 02. The water is clear with excellent visibility. Merely food for thought and preparation Re: In Water Recompression - Hydro - 07-28-2010 Re: In Water Recompression - Shooter - 07-28-2010 Nice article, very informative, Thanks for posting. I even have a full face mask but would still do it with a standard reg set. Re: In Water Recompression - DetectorGuy - 07-28-2010 Well, you know how I stand ;D. Nice article Hydro. Re: In Water Recompression - mcdiver - 08-15-2010 I'll "hang around" for awhile. |
