Dry Suit Class....DONE! - Arkman - 09-20-2010 I just finished up my dry suit class (and boat diving) on sunday! ;D James at Northwest Divers in moorhead was great! We did 3 dives just for fun. Our second dive we made it down to 82'. I was a little nervous but we just took it slow and james kept an eye on me and all was good. I wasn't wearing dry gloves or hood so I got cold quick in 44 degrees! :o We turned back after only a few minutes, there was nothing to see anyways. I'm glad I did it and hopefully James and I are going to make it out again diving this year. Re: Dry Suit Class....DONE! - acharpenter - 09-24-2010 Congrats dude!!!! ;D Re: Dry Suit Class....DONE! - jasondbaker - 09-24-2010 No hood in 44 deg? :o Whoa. Re: Dry Suit Class....DONE! - Mr.Pitbull - 09-25-2010 Mr. Misty brain freeze? Re: Dry Suit Class....DONE! - Arkman - 09-27-2010 Oh, sorry guys. I meant not a dry hood. I had a wet hood on but it was still a bit chilly after a little while. Re: Dry Suit Class....DONE! - DiverQueen - 09-28-2010 Dry...Hood??? Most folks just use a hood with a short or non-existant collar. |
