Hesper conditions today...
An old friend from school took this photo up in Silver Bay today. Might of been a tad rough for diving the Hesper. :o
Below is the nearshore forecast. GALE WARNING IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING TONIGHT NE WIND TO 35 KT WITH GUSTS TO 40 KT. RAIN LIKELY. WAVES 10 TO 14 FT. |

I can almost feel the cold wind and spray from here just looking at that picture. We dove the Hesper a month ago and it was calm, sunny and 80 something. What a difference a month makes.

This is why landlocked surfers flock to Superior with 5-7 mm wetsuits on and go surfing!
