WOW is all I can say!
I will have to bring two shovels: One for the snow, and the other for all the sh*t that is being thrown around. > :o > I am really looking forward to Mille Lacs. |

And that was thru just afew holes also. what tank you rocking that gives 90min ice dive? very interesting.

Re: TRINITY'S 3rd annual 2012/2013 icing challenge
I typically use a 80 CF alum, but that limits me to about 50 to 60 minutes per dive. If I know in advance I am going to want longer bottom time (or if all my 80's are empty) I use a steel HP 120. It seems like a 3500+ PSI in a 120 lasts a longer time in the cold water for some reason. Maybe a small portion of that is the mammilian dive reflex.

Re: TRINITY'S 3rd annual 2012/2013 icing challenge
ok now this makes sense,
with your lp180cuf do you remember how much psi you had left at the end of that 90min dive?

Man... 90 minutes pounding the same barren hole... I can see why a guy would burn out after a hard season of that

Re: TRINITY'S 3rd annual 2012/2013 icing challenge
what is the documentation requirements? do you have to video record the whole thing from start to end. post a youtube video. probably best to have a tripod set up to record the evidence.how to standardize this against different tanks, and setups.
