did some dives at lake Zumbra on Sat... Ice is still 20 inches, vis was about 20 feet for the most part

That was a great day of diving and socializing.
Nothing like spending the day with friends on the ice. Popo, Penny, and I went out again today. Very interesting site that was picked. ;D Lots to see and grab off the bottom. >  ;D Had some of the locals come to chat with us. They thought that we were crazy to be diving. They saw the flag, and thought, no way, they couldn't be diving this time of year. Popo has the pics, so I will let him brag it up a little more. ;D |

nice action shots, you should see these pictures full sized, uncompressed to mnscuba allowable upload size. wife did exceptional job with pictures. very impressed. .. hydro in full action shot cutting hole, mighty fast might i add. with water flying!look at the water droplets! nearly an archeological artifact frozen in time!..

Another great moonlighting pic.entire group was "Nay-Saying" me. just couldnt do it. actualy scubafreek was the worst of all of them. ...absolutely not. we are not going there stef. no way. never. never going to drive out there, or dive it or nothing. its going to be boring.Look whos laughing now! it was everything i thought and more. great dive. found tons of interesting fish.spot on spot.

Now,now. I never said never. I just said that I was getting bored from diving Tonka all winter. Now that we found a new honey hole, we might have to keep it a secret.. > ;D ;DI was very surprised to see a plowed road right out to where we wanted to dive. That is why my wheeler is still on the trailer.. Ha, ha. Brought the wheeler, but drove the truck all the way out. Man, that took a while to spud a hole big enough to dive out of.. :o ;D |

It was about 22" for our dive on spec |
