I guess I was wrong... I misread the following from North Dakota laws that was actually a description of concealed: "There is no requirement that there be absolute invisibility of the firearm or dangerous weapon, merely that it not be ordinarily discernible."
I focused too much on the "that it not be ordinarily discernible" and not the preceding sentences. My Bad.... dang I hate being wrong.... :
