Wanted-Pictures from Wazee
I'm seeking underwater pictures of Lake Wazee for use in an upcoming publication. Specifically, I'm looking for photos of the ledges, walls, training platforms, trees, weed beds, fish or other interesting things. It's OK if there are divers in the photos too.

I would need your written permission to use the photos and in return, you would get your name printed as "photo credit" in the publication. I'll also get you a free copy of the publication if one of your photos is used. I cannot discuss more details regarding the publication in this public format at this time.

If you have photos, please post them here and if I am interested I will reply or contact you by email. I won't use any of the photos you post here without your written permission so don't be afraid that I will steal them.

Thanks and I hope to see some good pictures.

John, I have some Wazee pics on my Webshots site at this link.
I also have many more on my computer at home.

My browser at work won't let me view that link. It seems to think it's porn for some reason. I'll have to try to view it elsewhere so hold on and I'll look at them.

Thanks;

John, go check out the site for some great pictures of Wazee. Look for pictures taken by Doug Freeman (dfreeman). He has taken some of the best Wazee pictures I have seen. Doug would probably be happy to contribute.

Re:Wanted-Pictures from Wazee
I would agree - talk to Doug Freeman. I've got HUNDREDS of pictures on CD that he's given me from us diving @ Wazee. He's out of the country right now but I could give you his email address so you could get ahold of him if you would like.

Thanks for the tip. I checked them out and there were some really nice, clear shots that I could use. I emailed him at his address given on that group so hopefully, he will get it.

Thanks;

No problem. He'll set you up - he's an absolute photography fiend.

Lon;

I was finally able to access your photo album. Some nice stuff there. I think I might want to use at least one of the tree pictures. I'm going to play around with them and see how they look reduced down and within the text frame. If I decide that I'd like to go with any of yours, I will contact you here and we can work out the details. I won't use anything without permission and a mutual agreement to the terms.

I'm looking at some stuff from a couple others too. There are some good UW photographers out there. It isn't easy I know.

Thanks!

Do you think he is monitoring his email right now or will he be out of touch for a while? he really has some nice photos.

Whoops! Sorry about that - I wasn't monitoring replies to this. He is pretty good about getting back to people when he's out of town, so you should get a reply fairly quickly.
