Reef Master
I was looking at the reefmaster 3.3 mp digital camera. Can anyone tell me what they think of theirs? Or perhaps why they decided against it. I was also wondering if I should pick up a strobe. Any feedback or information would be appreciated.

Re:Reef Master
With the prices of cameras dropping and with higher MP's coming out all the time I'd go for an Olympus C5050. It's a much better camera than the Reefmaster and the C5050 is 5 megapixels. I found a place online doing a Google search that sells the C5050 for $329. That's a pretty good deal. You should be able to find the PT15 housing for under $150. I think that's the best buy in underwater digital camera setups right now. I've been using a 3.2 MP Sony camera and housing the past two years and while it's decent, if you compare my photos with say DanL or Freedive WI's pictures there's no comparison. Their pics are much clearer than mine mainly due to the higher MP resolution that their cameras have.

Re:Reef Master
I have the Sony DSC-P5 Cyber-Shot camera along with the Sony MPK-P5 housing. I bought my housing online. I just did a Google search and found a good price at some computer supply store in Texas. The housing has worked real well for me. I've had it down to 130 feet with no problems or leaks. I'll bring the camera and housing out to Perch tomorrow so you can check it out.

Re:Reef Master
If you are looking at staying on the low GOOD end I'd forget the reef master and go with the Sea & SEa DX3100 Aqua Pix

Re:Reef Master
I am sold on the digital cameras.
What is better about this sea and sea?
Would I be better off to get a digital camera and get the water proof case for it?

Re:Reef Master
The construction of it is better When I worked with a shop they tried out the reef master weren't inpressed and found out a few problems with their triggering mech. after a client brought it back owner called the company they knew of the problem and they are working on it but failed to let the shops know about it egg on our face gave the money back sent all cameras back the guy bought a Sea & Sea brings in great photos to show very happy.
Myself I like housings, but they can be spendy depending on what you are looking for I have a light in motion camera was 900.00 housing with all the extras 3600.00
