Underwater Metal Detector

Any opinons, or feelings on finding an underwater metal detector? My PD is looking at buying one, and I want to find the very best for us!

I've been looking at the Garrett brand. They have the Infinium LS and the Sea Hunter Mark II, the Infinium being the more expensive of the two. From what I've heard the Sea Hunter would work great for our local diving.

I've heard Fisher u/w detectors are really nice. Not sure on it's exact name? They make side sonar and other instruments also.

I'm sure some others have some ideas - keep your eye on the city lakes, there's lots of treasure hunters out there to ask.

Hi I have the Garrett XL500 pulse detector which works good I found it on ebay for a pretty good price. For research I would use google and do searchers on the detector your looking for. There are lots of pages out there with reviews and helpful search tips.
