Platform @ Louise???
>Big Grin
SSSSHHHH.
I hear there is a new platform in Louise.
I guess it lies in about 30 ft/ just out from the old one. Dont tell the DNr.

This was a clandestine op, that went very well.

It isnt "totally" done yet but will be shortly.

Well the platform is done. all the wood rails are on and bolted down. This was a great learning experience. Pounding on bolts underwater is much tougher than one might imagine.

There are a few misc. nuts and bolts to attache, however if I dont get up there before winter, it should be O.K. It is deep enough so the ice should not bother it.

If anybody on this board know, see's or talks to Dave Starkey, please let him know.

I know know what a trident missile looks like being launched underwater.

A 12 foot 2x4 slipped out of my hand from 30'. Boy it it go up fast. one of my buddies saw it surface and he said it almost cleared the surface.

I have to keep aqll of the weight on it till the wood soaks up enough water to stay down on its own. There is about #500 on it.

I hope its stays there for many years and lots of students are able to use it.

If anybody knows Dave Starkey, please pass this along to him.
