Sunday was a cold, gray day at Wazee.  Viz only fair and really dropped off below about 60ft.  Water temp about 45F or so.
Pic of some happy divers....

Sorry I missed the dives.  I got called from work Sat night, and so didn't get much sleep.

I agree. I still want to get out to one of the pits. I was only able to fit in a local dive this past weekend, cold but found some cool 1900-1940 milk bottles and old whiskey bottle with the cork still in it. Water was warmer than that wind thats for sure! I am open all thanksgiving weekend FRI-SAT if anyone wants to do a pit.Let me know, Linda

I spent Sunday over at Sherwood diving the wall.  Got a late start, thus didn't stop to say hi.  The vis there was actually pretty good in the deep, though was a bit of mess between about 50 and 100 feet.  I was the only one there, except for some deer hunters stopping in to use the bathroom, and a buck and doe hanging out just to spite them.  Wow, what a cold, gray, windy day.  Thus, kept my surface interval really short, which really racked up the deco on dive 2.  I thought the puter would never let me come up.  - Kirk

No kidding - you really need to download your computer to DAN researchers.  You've got to be pushing the envelope on repetitive deco dives, no?  Probably something to be learned from all your profiles.

Yeah, probably not the best idea racking up that much deco, though certainly am glad I went.  After seeing all the ice on area lakes today, looks like our open water quarry days may either be over, or at least certainly numbered.  With regards to the DAN researchers, my biggest fear is they will ask me what I was looking at down there.  How do I answer?..... um.. a wet wall meets some wet mud. - Kirk
