Kamloops
Well we just finished diving the Kamloops, and that is one amazing wreck.  I couldn't believe just how much I saw in CCR.  We did 4 dives on the Kamloops, with 3 dives on the stern and one dive on the bow.  the three dives on the stern were in the range of 200 to 220, and we were able to see most everthing on the stern section.  Our most helpful guided tour was conducted my Ron Benson, and I dove mostly with Mel Clark.  We kept our bottom times to 20 to 25 min and found that with pictures, seeing most everything, and the cold this was a comforitable time.  Deco was around 45 min give or take, and the ship is awsome, for sinking in 1927.  The Engine room, emergency helm, (which didn't help the ship, but is cool to see) and the other cargo stread around.  On the bow we hit 256 and didn't go all the way to the bottom.  Over all the trip was great and I look forward to deep wrecks, where ever they maybe.

Re: Kamloops
Just returned from Isle Royale myself.  Dove the Kamloops, Congdon and Emperor.  The weather was awesome!  Barely any wind, no noticeable waves and very sunny.  The lighthouse flies sucked though.

Did a dream dive: decended on the Kamloops' bow section and slowly made our way up the ship to the stern line.  Barely need my HID light.  It would have been perfect if I didn't get a 02 cell warning early in the dive... the d@mn alarm kept beeping!

It was nice to see so many different rebreathers: 3 Inspirations, 3 KISS and 1 Meg.  For three dives I used less than 19 cf of diluent and less than 19 cf of 02!

Paul - Glad you enjoyed your Isle Royale dives... we are very lucky to live near such pristine wrecks!  Have fun in Two Rivers.

Re: Kamloops
I agree that pics of certain things shouldn't be posted, and Truck is another story altogather.  Isn't the reason for diving this wreck; the wreck not other items that may still be there.
just my 2 cents.
