Re: Cavern Diving Class Info.?
Hey , dang , I should have jumped on this thread earlier...
If you want , I can give you at least 3 instructor names down here...
2 of them are at Ginnie and one works out of where I am ...

They are either NSS/CDS -or- NACD instructors...!!!

Ralph and Jonnie at Ginnie Springs and
Mike O'Leary up here at Dive Outpost...

If nothing else , shoot me a PM and I can for sure get you more information on cavern class etc...!!!

BTW:  I passed my Intro to Cave class and I am now Discresionary Apprentice (Blush...Blush)

And if you EVER dive at Peacock Springs up here in Luraville and you DON'T stop by and say hello to me ... well ... I'll just cry ...  :'(

Hey , give me a shout !!!

Thanks again!
Jean

P.S.  Keep your fingers crossed...So far , Ophelia has NOT dumped any rain over here in NW Florida...But if it does , the Suwanne and the Sante Fe could flood and well , that's bad !!!
If you want , I can send you the spring conditions down here too ...  Wink

Re: Cavern Diving Class Info.?
Thanks for the names Jean.  I've been in contact with Ralph DiPanfilo (his website is ) and he seems to have it all together.  So unless I hear otherwise, I plan to take my training through him.

I'm not sure if I'll be going through Luraville, but if I do, I'll for sure look you up.

Thanks!

Cool beans!
Ralph was my Cavern AND Intro-Cave instructor...
He's really neat ....

Let me know when you are going to be here , I can surely drive DOWN to Ginnie and visit with you between dives etc ...
AND if Ralph takes you to Peacock Springs for some of your training , I am right down the road from there...

Stop in and Say HI !!!!

See ya soon !!!

My plan is to be there Oct. 21st - 23rd... but may try to get down earlier... would like to have a day just to dive the cavern(s).  I'll let you know more as things develop.

I'll ask Ralph about Peacock Springs... can you camp there???

Dang , sorry for the late response...
No ... Peacock does NOT allow camping (darn State of Florida anway)...
(er , enough said there Jean)  :o

You can certainly camp at Ginnie and we have rooms up here that you could stay in too , if you like...!!!

Hey , I hope I get a chance to see you and maybe do a dive somewhere , don't ya know ... !

Take care and see you in a couple of weeks then...
