Re: lobster hat members
Had a great time diving and spearing fish! Average depths from 80 to 120 ;D shot lots of underwater video, that I hope to be able to link to my web site soon! I have quite a bit of video of fish being shot underwater, and also some really cool footage of what the Florida middle grounds bottom structure looks like 8)

Note to self if you are going to become a member of the lobster hat club.  You need to join before you shower and get cleaned up, and after the lobster has expired :Smile.  It seems I had a spiny lobster leg inserted deep into my nostril :o.  After that, the goo that you see on my face and shirt is a very sticky substance known as lobster blood.  Works great for hair gel, but doesn't smell the best :-\.

Had some inclement weather and had to relocate to avoid some lightning storms.  One of the pics shows the start of the water spouts forming. When you're 90 miles offshore and eight to 10 hours away from help.  You always keep your gear organized and ready to put on at a moments notice.  The weather was actually a blessing in disguise, with the overcast and rain the temperatures were much cooler and more tolerable for a well insulated Minnesotan ;D

;D ;D ;D rotflma  ;D ;D ;D welcome to the club!

I was at the pits this weekend as well. My 13 yr old just got certified and wanted to go diving! The weather was beautiful! I'm glad I didn't listen to the forecast. We grilled fl seafood. It was marinated in lemon and garlic and lightly seared on an open flame! :o Could you smell it??

We dove alstead south beaver dam, vis was only 15-20' but still had some great dives.
