For those of you wishing to and join us on the lake, the GPS coordinates are latitude 46° 13.77 longitude at 93° 34.80 ;D
I have a prediction that will recover at least three to five anchors Monday is the day! |

Re: Skip Work & Dive
You ask what goes into setting up for an ice dive ???
Well the first thing is to find a good supervisor (note supervisor on left). Then the hard work of sawing and chopping ice starts. |

Re: Skip Work & Dive
Next you chop out the ice.
Then you make the next cut with the chainsaw.... and cut and cut and cut. : : : : |

Re: Skip Work & Dive
About this time you really need to take a break.
This first photo could be titled "instant diver just add water." Once you make the smallest hole through the ice the hole fills up REAL quick. The next problem is that chainsaws don't work well when submerged. Thus the hole is finished by hand. |
