Well might as well give my update.
Got in 43 dives this year (6 less than last year)...so I came up just short of my #'s goal...could have had a couple more (plus a dry suit cert)...but the ice got here the weekend we had planned to do the open water dives. I did get my Rescue Diver cert. I ended up passing on the Nitrox and Wreck certs...and started on Divemaster instead (something to keep me busy over the winter, will finish it in the summer). So it looks like certs will be in my 2008 goals. Almost all of my dives were in my dry suit, I think I dove my wetsuit on one dive other than for my rescue diver course. So I got a lot of practice in on my dry suit. Dove my pony bottle on all deep dives. A few items I didn't have on my goals list, yet worth the mention...I was able to make it up to the Madeira again this year and scored 4 dives there...then I was able to dive the Mayflower and the Wilson, and both of those were a treat! Overall it was a pretty good year. |
