Local Dive Clubs
Any local groups out there that just get together and dive, other than those events put on by the L.D.S. 's ??

I have heard of the "Frogmen" and some others but do not know much about them.

I don't know that I would call us a club, but have a decent size group that likes to go hit the local lakes and camp many of the weekend in the summer.  We spend a lot of time at Crosby, Wazee, and Ore-Be-Gone.  Feel free to send me a note, and I can get you additional information.

The Inland Divers Vintage Dive Club is a local dive club, but you would need to have a vintage double hose reg. to dive with us.

Unfortunatly. my father parted with the double hoses years ago when he quit diving. He started to teach me about 20 years ago on a double hose with a steel 72, back plate with nylon webbing and fins. Who knew what a bladder or a BC was back in the day. I wish I still had most of the gear he parted with for garage sale prices.
Thanks for the offer though.

I will take you all up on the offers for those of us that are forced to dive the new fangled way ;D

The LDS do a good job of the fun dives but I kind of view this board as a club. I don't know how many I've met from the board but I've been to many of the posted dives so I think of it as a club.

I'm excited to get in the water so all I need is a place and time and I'll be there.
I could even do an evening as it's light till 8 and I don't mind night dives.
Ask your doctor if getting off your ass is right for you.
