The board has been dead! I'm in withdrawal!
Hope the board comes alive again as folks take off on dives to warm places.
Your unknown fish: Glassy sweepers (pempheris schomburgki), aka copper sweeper or hatchetfish. 3-5 in., max 6 in.; depth 15-80ft; drift in caves, dark areas of reefs, under docks, etc.

It was cenote azul, just 15 minutes south outta pdc and only about 1/4 mile walk from our resort. There were quite a few cenotes within walking distance of the resort but this was the only one we visited this time around.

thanks for the pics -always fun, esp during the "dry spell".
Pic 2 is Juvenile Spotted Drum
Last pic is Balloonfish (see iridescent blue spots in eyes)
