Thank goodness!!!! Thanks for the pics!!! The board has been dead! I'm in withdrawal! Hope the board comes alive again as folks take off on dives to warm places. Your unknown fish: Glassy sweepers (pempheris schomburgki), aka copper sweeper or hatchetfish. 3-5 in., max 6 in.; depth 15-80ft; drift in caves, dark areas of reefs, under docks, etc. (ref - Reef Fish Identification, Paul Humann, 2nd ed, pg 359)

It was cenote azul, just 15 minutes south outta pdc and only about 1/4 mile walk from our resort. There were quite a few cenotes within walking distance of the resort but this was the only one we visited this time around.

thanks for the pics -always fun, esp during the "dry spell". Pic 2 is Juvenile Spotted Drum Last pic is Balloonfish (see iridescent blue spots in eyes)
