Crosby Sun 5/6

Corndogg will be up in Crosby Sunday for a couple fun dives.  Don't know where yet.  Haven't been up there for over a year now. Feel free to call me if you'd like to join. Hopping over from the cabin on Mille Lacs Sunday morning so I'll be diving by 11 or so. Myself and two other recreational divers stayin shallow (less than 100') plus one or two bubble watchers. well how was the crosby area?  we were north of there and considered making the trip sunday but the weather and having to open up the cabin just didn't combine for it.  I figured the red clouds would have been very prevelant.

Crosby was actually very nice.  It was cold and windy when we got there but I called some poeple at NOAA and soon it was sunny and warm!  My gf actually got sunburned! We dove off the point between Alstead and Mahnomen 2.  Vis was very good, prolly 40+.  We had bright light at 80-90ft.  On the Alstead side we found a huge long vertical wall from 50 down well past 100ft which is rare for Crosby and on the Mahnomen 2 side some of the best trees I've ever seen. Large mature trees and other fallen trees on top which formed actual swim throughs.  Pretty cool, even an extremely advanced and awesome diver like myself was able to enjoy this site.    Let me know when you're gonna be freediving down here. A couple of other guys and I are lookin' to do some.
