Great. I needed something to do this weekend.

We can always move down the sand bar on Green. I should be able to see the scar from last time and just move down 400 feet.

Ask your doctor if getting off your ass is right for you.

scar?
I will have to check shore conditions. Worst case scenario we have a short swim to get on good ice.

Right! Don't need a scare.  :-[

You pick it and I'll swim it.

Lets dive spec. Its right next to green but the vis there is outstanding. Do you want to go on sat or sun? I haven't got ahold of Art yet. He holds the key. If he can't go we will need to coordinate on getting the saw. I have some spots picked out on spec.....

note to self!  keep checking this thread tonight!!!  might be able to finally get out to join you guys - have a couple other things that are being juggled, but might pass on one of them to get in an ice dive this year.  (I'll probably need directions...)

got it.  what road to access the lake?  will keep checking for date and time update...  guess I'd better try to organize my gear tonight and haul the big damn box out to the truck!  tanks are still in the truck already - better check pressures though, just in case.  unfortunately, the pole saw, spud, and fish house are in the toybox up north, so I don't have much to contribute to the gear pile (holler if we need more ropes, those I do have at my place)

Spec, ok, what road is the ramp?  I assume 8am start like usual?

I bought 2 tanks and they are in Andover. I want to get them after the dive Sat. I can get them Sunday but pick up would be 9am so I'll be a little late to the dive.

Sundays forecast looks worse. weather.com

Re: one more ice dive? 4-5 or 4-6

Lets shoot for sunday, it will give me a little more time to get my stuff together and coordinate the saw pickup. John bring your rope for safety diver.

we'll shoot for 9: 30 at the ramp.  Take the same road as you would to Green lake there will be boat ramp sign going the opposite direction on the same sign as a Green lake one. I will have my phone.
