House moved over the ice on White Bear Lake
A similar story to the dump truck on Minnetonka: A house moving company moved an historic house over the ice on White Bear Lake, from Manitou Island to the shore line. They made it successfully. It was reported that that house weighed 60 tons. The rep from the moving company said it was only the second time they had attempted to move a house across the ice. He said the first time "It didn't go so well.".
