HD320 will cost $215 ....... i havent looked at much HD UW cameras, but $215 seems cheap

I wonder if it's the same people as Hero?

I just bought a Hero GoPro video camera. It's cheap at $180 but it's all solid state and comes with a waterproof case to 100ft. 5 mega pixel so I can get video and sound for 56 minute on a 2gig SD. Playback on normal tv is good. A PC is 500x300 so it's a little small.

It's not exclusively water, it's multi sport and comes with helmet mount, head band and a bunch of hard mounts. I used it XC skiing and the video is quite good for such a tiny little camera (think headlamp size). Anyway, they promote it for canoe/kayak/whitewater, mountain biking, Motocross, .... You name it.

It does like a lot of light so I'm not expecting much from local dives. I got it more for general rec on terra ferma.

This isn't an endorsement. I'm not sure how well it will perform overall and the fixed wide angle(170) lens pincushions badly on the edge.
