Pool Session March 8th (was March 1st)
Here we go again. Another pool session got moved from Saturday March 1st to Saturday March 8th. (Scuba Daddy's moved their basic pool class). On Feb 15th there were four of us. We shared the Apple Valley Middle School pool with the basic OW class. We had the deep end of the pool pretty much to ourselves for about 3 hours. Lots of fun !!!

So:
For everyone that wants to go on the 8th , please let me know so I can let Scuba Daddy's know how many plan on attending. It also worked out well go get all tanks rented thru Scuba Daddy's (if you need to). That way , my little car is not stuck hauling all that gear around.

Date: March 8th.
Time: Probably 1 to 3 (or 4) PM.
Where: To be determined (should know very soon)
(Hopefully the Apple Valley Middle School - nice pool)
Cost: To be determined (but most likely $25 dollars)

Thanks again...More information forcoming!!!

Jean ;D

This may be a stupid question from a Newbie, but here it goes anyway.

When you dive in a pool, do you log it in your book?

Re:Pool Session March 8th (was March 1st)
igotoofar, you would not log the dive because it is not an open water environment and the depth is less than 20feet. Most dive agencies have minimum standards for what "counts" as a dive.

I can hang out in a warm pool for hours. Some of the community pools are not as warm as a dive shop pool so you may feel more comfortable with a thin suit. I wore a 2mil hoodless vest at the last event and felt fine.

Re:Pool Session March 8th (was March 1st)
OK....
We meet at Scuba Daddys' in Bloomington at 12:30 PM (or around that time) this Saturday March 8th.
We will get directions to the pool. Bill said its about 3-4 miles from the shop.
Sorry , but I don't really have any information on the pool itself. Hopefully it is as nice as the Apple Valley Middle School.

Thanks again and we will see you there!!!
