Terry's 1st Annual Halloween Carving Dive, 10-31-09
No not carving pumkins, that always seemed kind of dopey, it'll be carving up the bottom, its still up in the air between a few locations on Minnetonka, and Worth Lake, contingent on Hydros decision as to whether Worth lake is, worthless on not. Water temp is in the middle 40s now and it wont be climbing above that for oh 7 months or so, so if you want to get in on some warmer water diving (in MN), (and you dont actually know your already, SOL,) you gotta go for it now, while its still "nice" :-\. I'll know the location for sure in a day and post it here. probably meet at 9am at the sight. Let me know if you'd like to join us! THANKS! Terry

Wirth lake is cool, try the "Boat access area" that's where Tullibee and I did some diving tethered to Grumpie a couple years ago!! ;D

pfffft well i tried to chech out wirth lake during rush hour since its fairly close
but intuitive to get to in heavy traffic, it isn't... so ill try tomorrow :-\

What time are you going to try? I'm heading up to GUDC for a nitrox class tonight and may be able to assist some from shore, if needed.
