new record, the most snorkelers/freedivers that i have seen in the metro

this weekend i was amazed that there was 5 unrelated groups(19 people) of snorkelers/ freedivers on excelsior beach lake minnetonka. it was amazing! i have never seen so many people who randomly had gathered to do this! amazing. most had very modest gear. so many people were out that the fish have become tame in this spot. i swam up to a feeding carp so close that i nearly bumped into it not paying attention. also had sunfish come up and investigate me. clarity is down, but still enjoyable probably around 8ft or so.
