Re: TRINITY'S 1st Annual 2010/2011 Icing/ Anchoring Challenge
Steve and I went out and hit Prior Lake today, So. of the cities. Pretty unique with ice 1 1/4" thru maybe 1 1/2" think clear. It would support you walking but cracked with every step, but wouldn't support you fully suited up. I busted a hole with Steves steel 72 pony and went in, but to get to the hole had to crawl pushing my tank and BC in front of me. We went out 200' vis was ok but not great. Fun to screw around on, and to see if you could come up thru, if your feet are planted on the bottom, by pushing your tank (on your back) up, the ice can be busted a bit at a time, but just barely. Dont think you could do two inches of solid clear, you can kind of feel a vacuum as you start to lift. Heres a few pics.
STEVE! theres nothing on the lens!
