Back from Mexico Diving
Had another great time in Playa del Carmen this year. Got my Advanced Open Water Certification this trip. Also did some great cenote diving and dove the wreck of the Mama Vinea which is a shrimp boat that they sunk in 1995. The wreck is in 90' of water and we did it two different times. Big Lion fish at the stern of the boat. No sharks on any of the reef trips but a number of Barracuda's - a couple 4 feet long. Also saw a few large turtles and rays.
Both sad and happy to be back home. Maybe another shot of tequila will help me cope
