We're trying to get a mass dive at Ore-B-Gone up in Gilbert MN on Sat Aug 13. Great mine pit to dive in, with a couple of helicopters, bus, boat, a couple of airplanes, an old jeep, and lots of fish. More will be posted about it all later! Come on up and dive dive dive!

also dont forget,
large campground on site and state off-road vehicle playgroung on other side of the mine for offgassing time! great way to spend a weekend! |

I'm thinking that what is wanted is a MASS dive event on that day...kinda like that Quarry in Ohio I once read about in Dive Training magazine. The idea was brought forth to the city council. I'm not sure what kind of numbers we're looking at here...300? 400? Could it be done this far north?

If all the divers had tee-shirts and or displayed dive flag to generate interest be for the event it mite help.

Ha ha ha! ok , you caught me, yes, id only come if i can wave a dive flag around! ...no serriously, if Dive-T-shirts most of my boys would want to come.
