its bittersweet that nobody wanted to go diving up there last weekend, they just had a damn algae bloom, and the viz wasn't more than 2' on a lake thats normally really clear:-( maybe next year

Guess we need to build more houses with septic systems right at the lake
This might impove the lake water quality.

Is that really one of the causes of the algae? I know most of the islands out there have houses on them with probably not a ton of room for proper drainfields.
