Buoyancy Control?
Has then been answered?

(I've always wondered for years, I'm slow on the uptake.) I don't practice enough, though the thermal properties are great!

If you fart in your dry suit, does that change your buoyancy?

Should I add a pound or two, or take away for dive preparation after a large taco fest?

Good question. It would have to add a little bouyancy I'm guessing depending on how big of a fart you rip. :Smile

But isn't the 'gas' under pressure, condensed? So when you let it rip, it's density decreases and only expands to fill the volume of the suit? Wouldn't it be the same?

Re:Buoyancy Control?
Well, wouldn't the 'gas' already be in your system? It's just been moved to another location.

Remind me to never help you unzip your drysuit! I hope it's one man job! :o

PS... After a large taco fest, never trust a fart.

Re:Buoyancy Control?
I would think this would make no difference for 2 reasons.

1st The amount of gas would be minimal
2dn the gas is inside the drysuit to start with, (Really inside)
